The 2024 Ford Super Duty F-350 SRW (single rear wheel) is not the same truck it was six years ago because of all the innovations.
1. TorqShift 10-Speed Automatic Transmission
The TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission has five selectable drive modes for optimum power and performance. Normal is the default mode. Slippery mode controls the throttle response to reduce over-acceleration and regulates shift points for confident handling. Tow/Haul mode helps reduce the number of upshifts and downshifts when hauling a trailer in stop-and-go traffic or through hills.
2. Power Deployable Running Boards and Power Tailgate
Power deployable running boards offer both style and convenience when getting in and out of your truck. The Power Tailgate includes a tailgate step, Tailgate Down Camera, and rear park aid sensors.
3. The 360-Degree Camera System
The 360-degree camera system gives you an eye-in-the-sky perspective. When backing up, four cameras provide a composite 360-degree view, allowing you to see all around your truck.
4. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise
Intelligent Adaptive Cruise is a cruise control system that allows you to set your speed and the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. It also includes lane-centering and speed sign recognition.
5. Diesel Engine Exhaust Braking
The 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine has a driver-activated engine exhaust brake. This provides greater control while traveling downhill, regardless of the truck’s load or road grade. Also, this helps reduce maintenance costs since the engine brake helps minimize having to apply pedal pressure, and brake fade and lining wear are reduced.
6. Trailer Navigation
The navigation system has an available trailer navigation that sets your directions to avoid low bridges, winding hills and turns, and one-lane bridges, to name a few.
7. Off-Road Packages
The XL off-road package includes 33-inch off-road tires, a rear electronic locking differential, steel skid plates, and water-fording vent tubes. The FX4 off-road package includes specially tuned off-road front and rear shocks, and Hill Descent control.
The Tremor off-road package includes 35-inch off-road tires with all-terrain handling features, such as the selectable Rock Crawl mode. Trail Control lets you set a low speed to travel a trail, and you only have to apply the brake.
