Maximum 3,500-lb. Towing Capacity
Escape Titanium has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. when equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost® Class II Trailer Tow Package. Trailer sway control technology and an auxiliary transmission oil cooler are included in the package when equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. When trailer sway is detected, the system automatically takes measures, such as applying precise braking or reduced engine torque, to help keep both the vehicle and the trailer under control.

Escape was designed to make your everyday treks easy, featuring a host of smart offerings like available Intelligent Access with push-button start. Want to carry lots of cargo? No problem. The rear seats fold to provide up to 68 cu. ft. of cargo capacity. Accessing the rear of the vehicle is also a breeze, thanks to an available hands-free, foot-activated liftgate. Escape even provides a little help when backing up, thanks to the standard rear view camera and available Reverse Sensing System.
Cargo Capacity
Fold both rear seat backs for a flat load surface and up to 68 cu. ft. of total cargo space. Or fold down either of the 60/40 split rear seat backs and still have room for a passenger. If you're carrying items such as luggage, leave both seat backs up and you'll have 34 cu. ft. of cargo space. For more space, available roof-rack side rails with available crossbars* let you carry more cargo, especially items that don't transport easily inside the vehicle.
Hands-Free, Foot-Activated Liftgate
Thanks to the available hands-free, foot-activated liftgate, there's no need to fumble for keys. Its hands-free operation is especially helpful when your arms are full of items like grocery bags. With the Intelligent Access key in your pocket or purse, kick your foot under the bumper and the liftgate opens. You can also adjust the liftgate height, helpful for lower overhangs.
